A layered approach

Security Safeguards is built on the principle of defence in depth: no single control is treated as sufficient on its own. Encryption protects data even if storage is compromised; access controls limit exposure even if credentials are misused; audit logs ensure that any incident can be traced and understood; and continuous monitoring aims to catch issues before they escalate into breaches.
